Border reivers were raiders along the Anglo-Scottish border from the late 13th century to the beginning of the 17th century. Their ranks consisted of both Scottish and English families, and they raided the entire Border country without regard to their victims’ nationality.
With many years experience of the local Northumbrian Hills, and the history that surrounds them, we can show you parts of the area, including Northumberland National Park including The Cheviot (815 m), the Pennine Way, St Cuthberts Way, and the Border Ridge- all steeped in legend.
The area is full of fantastic areas of interest including crashed World War planes, waterfalls, Reiver hideouts, ancient Iron Age Forts.
