We are now offering Exclusive/Private hire of Wooler Youth Hostel and Shepherds huts for October, November and December with three different packages and rates to suit.
Choose from 16, 25 or 30 People packages.

Option 1 = 16 People
Sunday – Thursday @ £160 per night
Friday – Saturday @ £200 per night
Includes 1 x 2 bed ensuite, 2 x 4 bed ensuite, 1 x 6 bed ensuite (Bunk-beds) | Kitchen facilities, large Communal area, Bike shed, large outdoor space, Drying room. (No Dogs)
Option 2 = 25 People
Sunday – Thursday @ £250 per night
Friday – Saturday @ £300 per night

Sunday – Thursday @ £300 per night
Friday – Saturday @ £360 per night

When booking Wooler Youth Hostel and Shepherds Huts on Exclusive Hire, it is your responsibility to ensure you are aware of the current Government guidance on travel and gatherings in self-catering accommodation. In making a booking with WYH you are agreeing to adhere to the relevant Government guidance that will apply at the time of your stay.
Currently it is against the law for gatherings of more than 30 people to take place in private homes (including gardens and other outdoor spaces), or in a public outdoors space, unless planned by an organisation in compliance with COVID-19 secure guidance. The government have recently introduced spot fines of up to £10,000 for those organising gatherings beyond this size.
Our hostel accommodation can only be let to two households.
Dogs can stay but only in our Shepherds Huts (Option 2 &3)

FAQ’s
Will I have use of the hostel communal areas when I book the hostel on Exclusive Hire?
Yes, as your party has exclusive use of our hostel building, you will have full access to any communal areas, such as self-catering kitchen, dining room, lounge, drying rooms etc.
How is the hostel cleaned before arrivals?
The Hostel will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected using Covid-19 secure cleaning products.
We have removed unnecessary items to reduce the number of objects that are touched and require cleaning.
Do I need to bring my own hand sanitiser?
Guests in our Exclusive Hire hostel are welcome to bring their own hand sanitiser, however we do provide one hand sanitizer at the entrance to the property for your use.
What do I do if I feel unwell?
If you feel unwell before you travel, or are self-isolating, please do not travel to a hostel.
If you or anyone in your party begins to feel unwell after you arrive, please follow the instructions in the welcome information provided in the hostel.
To comply with the Governments “Track and Trace” we will need contact details of all members of party.
What time do I need to check in and out?
Please check in at 5pm and check out by 10am to allow our team adequate time to complete our enhanced COVID-19 cleaning protocols.
Will anyone else enter the property during my stay?
No, it will be your private space for the duration of the booking, and we will only enter the building for any maintenance .We will notify you in advance if this is due to take place.
